Love Advice from Dr. Love

Make your love life better

Hopeless Love

Dear Dr. Love,

I have read your column for years, but I never thought that I would be writing to you. I've tried going to meetings of "Women who love too much" but I'm still hurting, so I thought maybe you could help me. My problem is that the guy I love doesn't want to be in the same room with me. Every time I try to talk to him, he looks at me like I just killed his dog. He's in love with my best friend, who is perfect in every way, and it's slowly killing me inside. So, I have to ask you, how can I make him like me?

Sincerely,

Hopeless Girl

Dear Hopeless Girl,

I'm sorry to hear the guy you love doesn't love you back. It sounds like he treats you terribly: constantly ignoring you, being in love with your best friend, and calling you names. Sadly enough, you can't really make someone fall in love with you. However, there are some ways you can make him like you more, or get over him easier.

Option one is to talk to him and try to make it better. If you talk to him and tell him your feelings, you might win him over. He may realize that you have true feelings for him, and he might find it deep down he has feelings for you too. Although, he might still reject you, so don't get your hopes too high.

Option two is to find someone else. If he really doesn't love you, you shouldn't try to make him. Finding someone who likes you, and you like back would make you feel better. If you do this option, make sure you pick someone who treats better. The only problem with this option, however, is that you may still have feelings for him.

I really hope you find someone who you truly love, and who truly loves you back, and if possible, make the guy you love at the moment fall in love with you. Try to use the two options I gave to you. Good Luck!

Sincerely,

Dr. Love
