Morning Help Session Days - New Drop-Off Info!
In an effort to relieve the campus traffic congestion in the mornings, the leadership team, several teachers and clerks, and our custodial team are now assisting with the car rider lane on Help Session Days only. On Wednesday and Thursday mornings only, we are allowing students to exit their cars beginning at 8:00am and remain on the blacktop with supervision until we open the doors at 8:15am.
This new system should allow you the ability to drop your students for Help Sessions at the back of the building without the long lines you encountered previously. Please do not drop off your students anywhere other than the back of the building at the blacktop area, and please help us by following the requests of staff members directing traffic, etc. These staff members are in place to ensure a smooth, safe, and orderly drop-off.
We ask that you please do not drop off your students prior to 8:15am on any days other than Wednesdays and Thursdays.
We appreciate your cooperation.

STEAM at FFMS!
Dan the Fanatical Fossil Man was the special quest speaker in April Coston's 6th Grade Science class on Tuesday, September 29th. The students focused on how fossils are the key to the Earth's past. The earliest fossil he brought was between 2.5 billion to 3 billion years old! The students were able to see, touch, and ask him questions about his fossils. The fossils showed the students how organisms developed from simple into very complex creatures. The students had a lot of fun and learned a lot from his visit!

Dress Code!
Attention, Broncos: Shorts and skirts must be no shorter than 8" from the bottom of the knee to be worn in class. Also, no bare shoulders or see-through blouses. No holes in jeans or shorts above the knee and no droopy drawers are allowed. If a student is found to be in violation of the Dress Code, parents will be called to bring a change of clothing for their child. If a parent is not readily available to bring an appropriate change of clothes, students are sometimes able to borrow clothing articles from the Clinic. We ask that clothing borrowed clothing from the Clinic be returned at your earliest convenience so that others may have this same opportunity. Thank you for your assistance.
As a reminder, detailed and specific dress code information is located on pages 7 and 8 of your student's agenda book. We hope you will take a moment to review this with your child. We appreciate your cooperation.
