2nd Hand News
December 8-12
The last week before break arrives tomorrow! Last week we worked on subtraction with double regrouping and the children are showing progress. This week, we may be able to introduce regrouping across zero to get a little experience for when January arrives. The children are continuing with reading comprehension and are learning to determine what a question means and the different ways questions are posed. We visited Mexico this week, had our passports stamped, and learned about the legend of the Christmas poinsettia. Next up, France! Last Friday, piano player Chris Kerr entertained the Lower School with great music.
A FEW THINGS
- Please dress your child in holiday clothes for the Tuesday program. Blues, reds, greens, and holiday colors are encouraged.
- If you are able to pop in after Tuesday's holiday show, please visit the classroom at lunchtime to say "bravo" to the children. Rehearsals have been great!
- We have LIBRARY on MONDAY, please remember to send library books with your child every Monday.
This coming week will be a whirlwind, I hope you had a restful weekend!
With a smile,
Mrs. Nyce
