Muncie, IN, USA

Muncie, IN

Baking and Pastry event information and location will be announced soon. Students must be affiliated with FCCLA to enter.

Baking and Pastry

Baking and pastry will be an individual event this year. Chapters may submit up to three competitors per chapter. Guidelines and Recipes are below.

We are finalizing the location for Baking and Pastry. Currently, we have space on hold at the previous Ivy Tech Muncie facility and at Ball State University. We will hopefully finalize the location this week or next after we finalize discussions with Ball State University. The recipes are below and available for you to prepare for the Baking and Pastry Competition. The only change that might happen is with the yeast bread. At this time, the one location does not have stand mixers and we need to investigate that issue. If we determine that we can't remedy the mixer, the yeast bread recipe will change. Remember, you need to be affiliated members of FCCLA for Baking and Pastry.

Taste the Championship

Thank you to schools that participate in the Taste the Championship event for the College Football Playoffs. This was a specialized event that they wanted to highlight Indy schools as a priority and our most recent ProStart Invitational winner. Thank you to those schools that helped make it possible.
