Kansas City Mission Trip

If you are planning on going on the mission trip to Kansas City July 21-25, please contact Connie Moore in the church office by Sunday, May 29th, or call 770-786-9031. Plane tickets will be purchased on Tuesday, May 31st. Cost of trip is approximately $615.

Widow to Widow

There will be no Widow to Widow luncheon in June. We will resume meeting on July 6th.

Summer Music Activities for Kids

S.M.A.K. (Summer Music Activities for Kids) will take place July 11-15 (Monday - Friday) from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Children who have completed 1st-5th grades are invited to attend. They will learn the children's musical, "Hans Bronson's Gold Medal Mission" and perform it on Sunday night, July 17th. Cost to attend is $75 per child or a family maximum of $150 which includes lunch, music, supplies and a t-shirt. Neighborhood Kids Clubs

June 27th - 29th at 6:00 p.m. - This summer instead of the traditional VBS we will be "Loving Covington" with Kids Clubs throughout our community. We currently have clubs in the following neighborhoods: Bear Creek, Covington Place, Woods of Dearing, Stone Lea, Vinny's Lake, Long Branch Meadows and Rose Down. Media & Ministry Assistant

We are still accepting resumes for this positon! FBC is hiring a part-time Media & Ministry Assistant. Contact or submit resumes to Pastor Cody's assistant, Connie Moore, at or call the church office. A job description is available upon request.

Baby Bottle Blitz

Our FBC family will help support the Newton Pregnancy Resource Center by filling baby bottles with spare change. Pick up a bottle in the Callaway Room or the Fellowship Hall foyer and fill it with your loose change between now and Father's Day. Bottles may be dropped off in the church office. If you choose to write a check, please make them payable to the Newton Pregnancy Resource Center. Donations are tax deductible.

(We close from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. for lunch)

Friday 8:00 a.m. - Noon

STAFF MEETING: The office will be closed from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays for Staff Meeting.
