Many of our fall sports teams kick off today with Soccer and Volleyball trying to replicate football's triumph over the weekend. Good luck boys' and girls' teams.
Also, another reminder that Monday, 9/9, is the last day for those teachers identified as part of the initial SEI cohort to exclusively register for the no-cost course that is taking place here at CCT beginning on 10/7. Course registration will be open to all beginning on Tuesday, 9/10.
Here is the registration link: http://www.doe.mass.edu/retell/no-cost.html
Tuesday
Just a regular day..... except it's a Tuesday.
Curriculum Sub is today, but no one is reporting out.
Wednesday
Thursday
Tonight we will be holding our Ninth Grade Parent Night. Academic Teachers (including 21st Century and PE) who have Ninth Grade Classes must attend. Other academic teachers and technical teachers are welcome, but it is not an obligation.
Note: Teachers whose last ninth grade class is prior to 6th period may leave early.
Below is the Ninth Grade Parent Night format. If you have any questions, please let me know. Again, only ninth grade academic teachers are required to attend. All other teachers are invited. We will have a ninth grade technical night later on in the year when students are placed in their respective shops.
Parents will be following their child's schedule, moving to classrooms approximately every 10 minutes. Bells will sound.
Copies of student schedules, the evening's bell schedule and maps of the school will be available on tables outside of the Student Services Office.
Tour Guides will be on duty to direct parents to classrooms and shops.
Click here for the draft presentation delivered to parents prior to their entrance to your class.
Teachers: please ask parents to sign-in.
Teachers should be available to meet with parents of students in all of their classes. Teachers should also have Course Info Template (attached) filled out and copied for parents.
(The Course Info Template is a good organizational tool to fill out for all classes.)
If you are unable to be here, please contact Mr. Terranova ASAP.

Sign Up For The Activity Fair
Our annual Activity Fair will be held during the first Activity Period on Wednesday, September 18th. The Activity Fair showcases all of our wonderful clubs and sports here at CCT. Each activity has table space and students can learn more about the offerings and sign up if they wish.
If you are an adviser or coach, please respond to this email and let us know if you will be participating in the Activity Fair. If you are able to get students to participate and talk with their peers about your activity, that would be great! Please let us know ASAP so that we can make sure you have a sign. Please see Erica Tasha with any questions.
Thank you!!

You may sign up for the substitute so you can watch someone of your choice. Please check with your evaluator on suggestions if you need one. Senior Project Survey
The mission of Senior Project is to create an opportunity for students to produce a culminating technical project that challenges them to demonstrate and display mastery of the technical, academic, and social skills needed for lifelong learning and success in a changing world.
One of our goals this year is to "Rediscover Senior Project" through the lens of the academies. In order to get a sense of what folks know and feel about Senior Project, Curran created a faculty survey to gather some data. We will use this and other methods to help rediscover and eventually re-imagine Senior Project. Please complete the survey prior to Tuesday so your voice can be heard.
