Lost & Found

Lost & Found will be donated on May 13th. There are LOTS of jackets! Please remind your student to check if they are missing anything.

PTA Movie Night

Join the PTA and your Beard family on Friday, May 13, 2016. There will be a short PTA meeting at 7:45, followed by movie at dark.

WHERE: The field behind Beard amphitheater

DON’T FORGET: picnic dinner (if you choose!) and drinks for your family, chairs and/or blankets to sit on & BUG SPRAY!!

Admission is FREE!

Popcorn and ice pops will be served, and water jugs will be available to refill your own water bottles/cups.

Summer Reading Program

The 2016 Mayor’s Summer Reading Club kicks off on June 1 with the option of registering online ( or at your neighborhood branch. Members of the Reading Club receive a reading log (featuring a friendly green frog) to track the titles of the books they read. Students who read eight books (or who listen to 16) receive a summer reading certificate signed by Mayor Taylor and can select a free paperback book to keep. Completed reading logs can be submitted through the end of August.
