CHOOSE BIODIESEL!
BIODIESEL IS BIO-FRIENDLY!
WHAT IS BIODIESEL?
Biodiesel is a new, high-tech fuel made from vegetable oil and animal fats. Through an advanced chemical process, this oil is split into two parts: soap, and biodiesel. It costs about $4.64 per gallon. Maintenance is easy: Just change your filters, and watch out for cool temperatures! Biodiesel lasts as long as we can grow crops, so you can use it for the rest of your life. You can use it in any vehicle that has a diesel engine!
WHY IS BIODIESEL BETTER?
Completely renewable
Reduces pollution
Improves health
Reduces dependence on foreign oil
Safer to handle than normal diesel
Reduces greenhouse gas emissions by at least 57%; up to 86% when compared to regular diesel
DISCLAIMER:
Biodiesel use can increase hydrocarbon and nitrous oxide emissions. Biodiesel is also much more expensive to use than regular fuel. You may need to change your diesel filters regularly, and you will need a heated gas tank if you live in a cold environment. Biodiesel production may eventually require more forests to be cut down for farmland.
