WASC Accredited Elementary School
As many of you know, AmeriMont Academy achieved the highest recognition as a WASC accredited school in July of 2018. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is an ongoing six-year cycle of quality whereby schools demonstrate the capacity, commitment, and competence to support high-quality student learning and ongoing school improvement. An accredited school is focused on goals for each individual student and examines its students' performance continuously.
AmeriMont Elementary is the only non-religious, private or public school to obtain this honor in Anaheim Hills. WASC assures AmeriMont Elementary is worthy of the trust placed in them to provide superior learning and excellence in education. We are thrilled to be among the few elite schools that hold this high honor and look forward to our continued success in the 2019-2020 school year!
This Week at AMA
All School Field Trip to Curtis Theatre
All of our students had such a great experience watching the "Seussical" musical at Curtis Theatre today! This magical story of "The Cat in the Hat" engaged all of the children with its colorful characters and catchy tunes. They all learned about the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community. This was definitely a memorable field trip for our students!
"Now, imagine a curtain and what lies behind; the kind of a place you might see in your mind... From the page to the stage, come along and enjoy — this tale of an elephant, a bird, and a boy!"- The Cat in the Hat
