In the 1950s and ’60s the gas turbine was adopted by one American railroad and some European.The steam locomotive was used in north america.

why is this invention imortant in history

the locomotive was important to history because it helped people to move and transfer things alot easier. if it wasnt there wasnt locomotive people would more than likley still be rideing horses or walking
