Teachers,
The GCPS bookmobile will be here on Friday, January 10th. We are excited to be able to give the students that participate in the reading links this semester the opportunity to get a free book. We will still choose a winning grade level for the extra book checkout from the library, but the book mobile will be a chance to reward the students in all grade levels that have been participating in the program.
Here are the times that we have scheduled for your students that turn in links to visit the book mobile. It will be parked at the front of the school.
9:00 to 9:30 First Grade
9:30 to 10:00 2nd Grade
10:00 to 10:30 Kindergarten
10:30 to 11:00 4th Grade

Super Scoggins Updates on Semester 2!
- Each semester the gradebooks need to inherit the assignment types and weights from the County. We did this at the beginning of S1. You will need to make sure to change between S1 and S2 as you look at the gradebooks.
For S2, you need to select Semester 2 and then go to Gradebook Main. Click on each section in Gradebook Main to inherit the settings. Doing this saves you time so you do not have to update each class individually. Specials teachers this is also important to make sure grades post correctly in S2.
Click here for a link to instructions.
Please let me know if your gradebooks did not inherit the Categories with the Weights filled in since the County is requesting a ticket to help track down issues, and then we can work together to fix the categories/weights. I will send any additional updates from the County if they send them. - Grade verification sheets are in your mailboxes. This will show what will print on the report cards. Please look them over to make sure everything is correct, and verify that you put in additional required comments for ESOL, Academic Contracts, etc. If you make a change to the gradebook, you will need to post that section again. Click here for the Smore that has the grading timeline and instructions.
