5th Grade Learning!
Math - We will be working on attributes of 2D figures and volume of 3D shapes. It is still important that your student is practicing his/her multiplication facts if he/she is not fluent!
20 Time- We continue to work on our 20 time projects. It is exciting to see the creative and determined learning that is happening! They will be creating a presentation that shows all of the work they have done and what they have learned.
Reading - We are continuing to work on cause and effect and fact and opinion in informational texts. We are comparing and contrasting the true story of Pocahontas against the Disney version.
Writing - We will continue with opinion writing to finish out the year. Ask your child what they have written about!
Social Studies - Social Studies will be studying the causes and consequences of the American Revolutionary War.
D.A.R.E. - Graduation is May 3rd! It is being held in the auditorium at Craig Middle School from 9:30-11:00 am. Parents and other family members are invited, and encouraged, to attend.
