Reflections from the First Week of School
Thank you for your dedication to making Chireno ISD the best school for our students. Last week was an amazing first few days back! Things went very smoothly and every class that I visited was on track with procedures and expectations. Safety was all the buzz last week and the conversations that you had with your students as well as the training you provided them is probably one of the most important things you did all week. Students are really thinking and developing a mindset for being safe in their environment. We are pleased to partner with Nacogdoches County Law Enforcement by having a substation for various officers to complete reports in an office on campus. Their presence adds an extra level of security for our district and it is a positive step for ensuring that our students can learn in a school where safety is a priority. Thank you again for making last week such a positive one. Your administrative team appreciates you and we recognize that every person plays a role in making Chireno ISD a great place to learn and grow. Please let me know if I can do anything to help you. You are an amazing group of teachers and I look forward to spending another great year with all of you.
Have a great week,
Brandy Gray, District Principal
