TLT Summer Series
Come "chill" with us and learn something new!
Did we mention you could win prizes??
It's heating up outside, but it's cool inside the TLT training room! Join us for one of our sessions on a variety of educational technology tools that improve learning, engagement, and productivity.
Each session you attend will enter your name into a drawing for an iPad. So, the more sessions you attend, the more chances you have to win!
And, if you encourage your colleagues to attend and have a full session (6 people), you'll get to play Plinko to win other fabulous prizes!
Sessions will run until August 8th. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
Tuesday, July 15th 1:00pm
Ever wonder what people are talking about when they use words like "tweeting" and "hashtags"? Well, come discover the professional and educational uses of Twitter! Twitter is an online micro-blogging service that allows users to read and send 140-character "tweets." It's a fantastic tool for social networking, professional development, student engagement, and news curation. In addition to the purpose and benefits of Twitter, you'll learn about the basics of setting up an account, composing a tweet, following other users, and participating in "twitter chats."
