Parent/Teacher Conferences
We are excited for this year's Parent-Teacher Conferences, which will be held November 4th and 5th. Conferences are a wonderful opportunity to showcase student work, to discuss learning goals, and to help strengthen home and school connections.
This year, due to Covid, conferences are going to be a bit different than in previous years. Teachers have been given the flexibility to choose the format of their conferences:
- Held by phone
- Through Microsoft Teams or
- Face-to-face in the building (Masks are required to be worn by parents/guardians and students. When school is in session, parents cannot enter classrooms through the exterior classroom doors, but because conferences will not be during school hours, families can enter classrooms through the exterior classroom doors. Mrs. Becker's families who scheduled a conference during the day on Nov. 4, will need to enter the building through the main office since school will be in session.)
Below are the Parent/Teacher Conference sign-up links for each teacher. You can select the timeslot that works best for your family. It is important for parents/guardians to read the teacher's message on the link to know the format/location of the conference. Some teachers chose to host face-to-face conferences, some chose all remote through Microsoft Teams, and some will host both.
Our goal is to visit with every BMSA family, so if a conference date or timeslot does not work for you, please email your teacher to make other arrangements.

Safety Reminders
We want to thank our families for your continued efforts during drop-off and pick-up routines. You have been adhering to the drop off times, loading and unloading students quickly out of and into your vehicles, and being patient during the busy rush of each day.
- Masks must be worn on campus. Please do not approach a teacher or staff member if you are not wearing a mask.
- If your child arrives on campus late and no staff members are are out front, please send your child to check-in at the main office. We are a closed campus and for our safety, parents and guardians must not be knocking on exterior classroom doors. If you need to speak to a teacher, please make an appointment or check-in at the front office. Do not walk with your child to classroom exterior doors.
- Our students' safety is of the highest priority. If picking up your child early, it is required for parents to come into the front office to sign him/her out to ensure the child is going with their parent/guardian. You are welcomed to call in advance to let us know the student will be leaving early, but we will not pull him/her from class until you come into the building. This will minimize time away from instruction.
- At the end of the day, during student pick-up, we have been noticing several parents entering campus, standing too close to the building and to our students and staff. For safety, we ask that you stand back by the fence, in the grassy area or near the flag pole. If your child is walking or riding their bike home, please meet them at the entrances of our campus near Chateau or Sandlewood, they can walk/ride over to you.
