Project Idea
Students will research the continent Europe including but not limited to landforms, ecosystems, transportation, and culture. Students will journal their research and use the research to create a real life brochure to persuade Ms. Priest to travel to Europe. Students will create a descriptive writing piece as well as design a digital presentation including information about the continent. Students will also create an elevator pitch persuading Ms. Priest to visit Europe.
Driving Question: How can we persuade Ms. Priest to visit Europe?
Content Questions:
Science: What type of ecosystems are found in Europe? What do the food chains and webs look like?
Math: What would the cost be to travel to Europe from the United States? How long would it take to get there? (time, distance)
How is the currency in Europe related to the currency in the United States? (conversions)
History: How did explorers from Europe impact America and the New World?
Technology: What digital presentation best gives information to travelers?
