Wifi & Internet Options
Access to reliable internet has proven to be a much needed amenity these days. We have put together a page that lists options for internet access here:https://www.hseschools.org/happenings/covid-19-information/covid-19-wireless-access.
There are a few points I want to point out:
- If you reside in a residential where Comcast/Xfinity is an option, you can see if you can connect to “xfinitywifi” as Comcast has lifted restrictions on their service public hotspot options (https://wifi.xfinity.com/).
- Check with your local cellular providers as many have added hotspot data to customer plans.
- We have wireless access in the parking lots of DES, GES, NBE and SCE/SCI (see map in the link above). While there are barricades in these parking lots, you may drive around them as they are meant to discourage students/families from accessing the playgrounds and sporting fields.
- The Fishers and Noblesville Public Libraries have also made wireless access available in their parking lots.

Equity Coaches
Hi! We're Jen Koenig & Stacy Cook! We are the equity coaches at Geist Elementary. There are 2 equity coaches at every HSE school. As equity coaches, we serve as a bridge between the schools and families. Our job is to amplify the voices of students and families, understanding that equity is the concept of giving individuals what is needed for their success. We encourage a community of learners and provide professional development opportunities for GES to enhance understandings of equity. We help to foster a school climate where all students feel welcome and respected.
