Big News from Fr. Woolley!
Father John V. Doyle School
Dear Fr. John V. Doyle Community,
The Peace of Christ be with you. I'm writing you today with some very exciting news: the proceeds from this year's Calypso Night Silent/Live Auction on March 28 at Harbor Lights will be used to fund the installation of a 46' x 78' FlexCourt multi-sport outdoor athletic court in the asphalt play area on the elementary side of the school! The court will be lined for basketball and volleyball, as well as badminton, pickle ball, and mini tennis.
Prior to the court installation, we will be leveling the play area and overlaying it with asphalt, using funds raised from this year's Alumni Appeal.
Lastly, the “Fund in Need” at the end of this year's auction will go towards purchasing accessories and equipment for the court. The two photos below show the diagram for our proposed court, as well as a photo of an actual court with almost the same color scheme.
I'm very excited about seeing this outdoor multi-sport court get installed, but I'll need your help to make it a reality by supporting this year's auction, so please purchase your tickets today! More detailed information on the Outdoor Court/Play Area Restoration Project can be found in the attached file below.
