During this Student/Parent info session we will outline the eligibility requirements, steps and timeline to complete the PSEO application process and important factors to consider when deciding if this is the right option for you/your student. News from the Youth Services Coordinator
The Andover Leos
As part of the Leo Club’s effort to address isolation and loneliness among senior citizens, they will be volunteering at Arbor Oaks Senior Living twice a month. They will engage in activities such as teaching technology, spa days, dance classes, art classes, and game nights! This week, they made centerpieces with the residents - such a fun afternoon!!
They also adopted three seniors over the holiday season through the local non-profit Granny’s Closet. A huge thank you to those who donated!
On November 30th, Leo Club members made cards for the non-profit Sincerely. Sincerely is a student-led organization owned and operated by minority women. The organization, founded by an Andover High School student, focuses on spreading smiles through connecting generations. They facilitate the creation of cards for birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions.
At the December 7th meeting, the club wrapped gifts for the local non-profit Family Promise. Family Promise works with families experiencing housing insecurity and builds a foundation of lasting independence.
