Fourth Grade News
The week of 5/16 - 5/20
This Week's Focus:
Writing- Students will continue our unit on informational writing.
Social Studies- We will continue to study the Western region of the U.S.
Math- Students will continue to practice long division and double digit multiplication. They will also be adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators.
Science- Students will continue to learn about plant structures and how they reproduce.
There will be no spelling words this week!

Important Dates to Remember:
Friday, May 20th - Math assessment of operations (addition, subtraction, double-digit multiplication, and long division)
Sorry, but there will not be extra help math on Tuesdays anymore. My schedule is too full to fit it in. The students were great to work with and always gave their best effort. I will truly miss working with those smaller groups after school. I would also like to add a big "THANK YOU" to Mrs. Davis for the generous time she spent teaching the students on Tuesdays. Her dedication as a life long teacher is still shining through in retirement!!!
