Summer Reading

Woodstone Library

We Are Wild About Reading

For summer reading this year we want to see what Woodstone is reading. Using the hashtag #WoodstoneReads, post pictures of what your children are reading OR pictures of them reading to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Include something about the book for added fun. Then search the #WoodstoneReads hashtag and follow the Woodstone Library on social media to see what others are reading.

The NEISD Library Summer Reading Guide links below and Community Summer Reading Program links feature literature suggestions and reading incentive programs for students.

We hope you will take advantage of all the opportunities for summer reading!

NEISD Library Summer Reading Guide

The reading lists on the guide represent a wide variety of reading levels, genres, points of view, and ideas. Many are available as Sora eBooks.

Community Summer Reading Programs

Several businesses in the community offer reading incentives during the summer. You can find more information below.

Rocks for Mrs. Town's Garden

Thank you to those who have contributed rocks to honor Mrs. Town's memory. I have been so impressed and touched by the ones that have been turned in so far. I have loved seeing the messages , the science and library pictures and the beautiful designs. We will still be collecting rocks in the fall so you have time over the summer if you would still like to make one.
