Dr. Edward A. Faber
Dr. Edward A. Faber is Assistant Professor of internal medicine in the Oncology/Hematology Division at University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and an NCCN panel member for multiple myeloma. He currently is a principal investigator for all phases of clinical trials, while collaborating with cooperative groups such as ECOG, CALGB and BMT CTN, as well as industry-sponsored clinical trials. His special interest in clinical trials involves early, novel therapies for relapsed / refractory multiple myeloma. Dr. Faber serves on national advisory boards and speaker bureaus, as well as serving as a manuscript reviewer for national publications. He is an active member of ASH, ASCO and ASBMT. Dr. Faber has been appointed to the UNMC Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Committee and is the Co Director of UNMC’s M1/M2 Oncology/Hematology Core Course.
Dr. Shaji K. Kumar
Dr. Shaji K Kumar is Associate Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and a consultant, Mayo Clinic Division of Hematology. Dr. Kumar is board certified in medical oncology and hematology. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association of Clinical Research, American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation, American Medical Association, Association of Physicians of India, and the European Hematology Association. His laboratory focuses on development of novel drugs for treatment of myeloma and he has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals including British Journal of Haematology, Blood, American Journal of Hematology, and Bone Marrow Transplant on this topic.
