Ancient India was a good place to settle because there is the summer monsoon that brings drenching rains that helps fertilize the crops so that the people of ancient India can eat. Ancient India was a good place to settle because ancient India had rivers that provided water. Ancient India was a good place to settle also because the Himalayan mountains protected the ancient Indians from enemies. The houses of ancient India would be made out of mud brick and all you need is water,mud, and heat.
Some Geographical features are the Himalaya mountains,Mt. Everest,and the Deccan Plateau. Some people of ancient India used to live on the Deccan Plateau. The Himalayan mountains and mount Everest could protect ancient India from enemies. There were also the Ganges and the Indus river that brought fertile soil so the people of ancient India could eat from the crops the people of ancient India planted.
Humans Had effects.
Humans had a major impact of ancient India by making shelters out of dried mud stone and also by making grand walls to keep enemies out. In some cities like Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro had garbage chutes that was connected to bin in the street. Also in Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro were wells that brought people water and sewer systems that brought the waste outside of the walls. That's a major impact because they changed the way they had sewers and the other things using tunnels and mud brick.
Some resources of ancient India are cotton,horses and elephants. The people of ancient India used the cotton to make clothes. The people of ancient India used horses to ride around India and in battles. The people of ancient India used elephants to ride and festivals.
