TED Talks

I hope everyone had a wonderful break! I am looking forward to a fun spring with a lot of great events planned for Potter.

This year we have watched a few different TED Talks, I enjoy browsing through them because they are usually short and provide a different perspective on a topic that you might not have thought twice about. I also love that I have the ability to hit the stop button and move on if something is not for me.

The Happy Secret to Better Work is a short and funny exploration of the impact of positive thinking on productivity. This is interesting and something to keep in mind for ourselves (especially coming off spring break) and also for our students.

I have also included the link to TED-Ed. This is a searchable database of lessons and activities that use TED Talks or other videos. You can browse by grade level or topic to find something suited to your lesson. If you use/have used anything from this site I am interested to hear what you thought!

Have a great week!
