Importance of Movement!

Our bodies are designed to move, starting when we are in the womb! Movement provides us with a means to explore our world and gain new knowledge and experiences. This newsletter is designed to provide insight into ALL the ways movement can positively impact our kids and why it's imperative that children get to experience life through movement.

How do I get my kids moving?

Anytime, Anywhere, Any how!!!

There is NO one way to get kids moving because they all have different likes and dislikes. The best thing you can do is to expose your child to as many movement opportunities as possible and let them figure out what they like. Some examples include: going on hikes, going to the playground, walking around the neighborhood, riding bikes, going swimming, going kayaking or playing tag. Remember to let them lead the way, you are there for support and to have fun!!
