From The Principal

Paris Ridge Families -

Although it has been a cooler and much wetter spring so far, it looks like some very warm temperatures are on the horizon! I want to remind families that although the weather may “scream” sandals, slides and flip flops, students will spend at least thirty minutes a day out on the playground. It is much safer for them to have closed-toed shoes to protect them while running through the grass, on the concrete and over the woodchips.

Please make sure you “Save the Date” for our very first Panther Fest coming up on Wednesday, May 25th, from 5-7:30 p.m. This is going to be an outstanding evening with activities, food and…..NO RAIN (he says with fingers and toes crossed)!!! I want to extend a HUGE “thank you” to our PTO for not only coming up with the idea, but also for their work behind the scenes to make it happen. The RSVP window for popcorn and slushies has expired, but an RSVP is not required to attend. Please join us for a great evening of fun and fellowship!

Finally, thank you to all who took time this week to honor our staff as part of Staff Appreciation Week. Thank you for sending cards, food, gifts and words of encouragement to acknowledge the work our staff has done this year.

Have a great weekend Panthers!

Your Principal,

Mr. Vydareny
