Clinic Updates

We are still seeing and hearing many students and families experiencing "tummy troubles". Unfortunately that one is no fun for anyone. Hopefully we will get past this very soon! Covid has popped back up as well but is nothing like it was back in Jan/Feb. Hopefully it stays very limited. Please continue to help us keep our students who are at school healthy and learning by staying home when ill and seeking MD advice when needed.

Parents, please make sure all students who are present at school have been free of fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and eye discharge for at least 24 hours. Fever should be gone WITHOUT the use of fever reducing medications. Fever is defined as any temperature of 100 degrees F or higher.

The Texas Communicable Disease/Exclusion from school chart can be referenced here: https://dshs.texas.gov/IDCU/health/schools_childcare/Communicable-Disease-Chart-Schools-and-Childcare-Centers-073021.pdf (You definitely have to zoom in to read!)

The two videos below are quick reminders that you can review with students anytime!
All Immunization records submitted for registration MUST be signed or stamped by the physician or his/her designee or public health personnel per State of Texas requirements.
