Attendance Matters Everyday At School and At Home

During this difficult time, schedules and routines are more important than ever for children. School attendance is very important each day whether that is at school or at home and is mandatory by state law.

When your child is in attendance on an at school day they are considered present, and if absent will need a medical note or parent note for approved reasons for their absence to be considered excused. You can submit these electronically on the school web-page under parents at the link "online absence reporting" or send the note to school with your child.

On at home learning days attendance is also taken, your child is considered present if they log in and participate in online live sessions, submit work online and/or submit paper copies of assignments when they return to school. Assignments must be turned in by Monday and Tuesday for the previous week or the absence will be unexcused. You may still submit medical/dental notes for at-home learning days but please remember that missed assignments must always be made of so that your child can be accurately accessed by their teachers.

Report Cards

Report Cards are being mailed home on Friday November 20th, they are in a new format. If you do not receive your copy by Thanksgiving please call the school on Monday November 30th so we can verify your address and mail again. If you have any questions about the content of your child's report card please contact your child's teacher.

Parent/Teacher Conferences December 3rd 4:00 - 7:00

Thank you to those who attended Parent-Teacher Conferences on November 12th. We will be holding our second round on December 3rd from 4:00 - 7:00. Conferences will be held by phone or through Google Meets. Please call the school secretary Monette Ammons to schedule a time please give her the phone number you want teachers to reach you at and sign up for the time. Due to our limited phone lines, teachers will be using our virtual system to call your phone so please realize you will need to answer all calls during that window as it will not come up as the school's phone number on your caller ID, it may even come up as an out of state number.
