College & Career Day Volunteers Needed
Dear Trace Crossings’ Volunteers,
We are planning a “Career & College Day” for our students on Friday, February 21, 2020, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The main attraction will be guest speakers from various careers who have volunteered to tell the students about their jobs. We are currently looking for these volunteers! Would YOU (or a friend or family member) be willing to come speak to our students about your profession and education? If so, please click on the link below to complete a quick form by Friday, December 13th, 2019. Thank you very much for your willingness to be part of this fun and educational day!
Scheduling depends on how many speaker volunteers, but presentations will need to be 20 minutes long, allowing enough time for questions at the end of each presentation. A speaker will do the same presentation about 5 times for different groups of children. However, if you have scheduling constraints that would require a different plan, we are more than happy to work around them. For any businesses with trucks setting up outside, you will arrive at 10:00 a.m. and be available for groups of children until 11:00 a.m.
THANK YOU again for your interest in sharing your time and expertise! If you have any questions, please call or email Terri Coleman, TCES Counselor at 439-2723, tcoleman@hoover.k12.al.us
