Greetings Falcons,


I am pleased to announce that Fulmore has earned the No Place for Hate designation for the 2018-2019 school year. No Place for Hate is a self-directed program helping all of the stakeholders take the lead on improving and maintaining school climate so all students can thrive. To be designated No Place for Hate, a school must complete the following:


  • Needs assessment
  • Formation of a No Place for Hate committee
  • Signing of the Resolution of Respect
  • Design and implementation of three school-wide anti-bias or bullying prevention activities

School Changes Information from AISD

Austin ISD would like your feedback on school changes that will help provide better learning environments and opportunities for all students. Your feedback and ideas will assist with reimagining our schools and how they can be used to benefit students and surrounding communities. The school changes will encompass a variety of updates and improvements across the district. The goal for these changes are to enhance current programs, distribute equitable opportunities and repurpose facilities. Thank you students, teachers and parents for providing your feedback on the logo for Lively Middle School. Please see below, the following variations will be used and were selected as the most popular logo for next school year.


Summer Transition Camp Reminder

The 2019-2020 Lively Summer Transition Camp for incoming students will be August 5th, 6th, and 7th from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. This is a great opportunity for incoming students to make new friends and become comfortable on our campus. Students will engage in fun, team building, and curricular activities. Current Lively 6th and 7th graders are welcome to sign up to help with the camp in the Magnet Office or email jennifer.rodriguez@austinisd.org. Magnet students can earn community service hours by helping with the camp.


Award Ceremony Dates and Times

Save the date, hope to see you at the End of the Year Awards Ceremony for all grades levels. Ceremonies will take place in the large gym on May 23rd & May 24th. 6th & 7th grade ceremonies are scheduled for the same day, however, they are at different times so that we can accommodate our students and their families. 8th grade students will have a photo booth and treats after awards and then they will go to their end-of-year field trip to Austin Parks and Pizza.


  • 6th Grade Awards Ceremony 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
  • 7th Grade Awards Ceremony 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • 8th Grade Awards Ceremony 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.


Last Day of School

The last day of school is May 24th please have your child keep his/her backpack at home. No backpacks will be allowed the last week of school, starting May 20th to May 24th. Teachers will provide any materials for the last week of instruction.


Next week is going to be great! I can’t wait to see you so we can end the year together in style! Have fun, be safe and see you on Monday.

8TH GRADE END OF YEAR FIELD TRIP

Event: 8th Grade Field Trip

Date of Event: May 24, 2019

Time: Leaving at 10:00 am – returning at 5:30 pm

Cost: $20.00


The end of the year 8th grade field trip will be to Austin’s Park and Pizza in Pflugerville. For just $20.00, students will have access to all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta and salad bar. This price also includes bus transportation and attractions, such as miniature golf, go-karts, bumper boats, and laser tag. Students will need to bring extra money for arcade games, climbing walls, and the batting cage.


We want all 8th graders to attend this fun-filled event. Students are ineligible to attend if they owe attendance make up hours, library fees, book fees, instrument fees or any other financial obligation. Students may also be ineligible to attend for discipline infractions throughout the 2nd semester, or failing classes.


Tickets can be purchased in the cafeteria May 20th through May 23rd. Tickets will not be sold after May 23rd. A registration table will be set up during C lunch beginning May 20th through May 23rd. Please contact Lucy Figueroa with any questions.


Any additional money you can donate will help a well-deserved student attend the end-of-year field trip.
