Information on our Upcoming Science Fair
This year's Ventana Vista Science Fair will be held February 17th and 18th, 2020.
For consideration:
- www.sarsef.org provides excellent guidelines for project board design, rules and regulations, and parental involvement. This can be found under both the Parents and School links at the top of the webpage.
- 20 projects from the VV science fair will be chosen to go to the SARSEF regional competition (entry fee paid) at the TCC March 11 - 14, 2020. 2 projects from each grade K-5 and then 8 additional 'at large' selections.
- Project idea forms (attached) should be turned into the office before winter break. Please take time to think of a topic/project that is of interest or importance to you. Do not google 'science fair projects' and do one of those. We can tell :). Here is a link to the form also: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kc4U_DrmD3YM7Lsu_lR6t0fdk925wZUb/view?usp=sharing
- Students may work individually or as a team of 2-3 (dependent on teacher requirements).
- Tuesday Feb 18th: Science Fair and Robotics open house night at Ventana Vista.
- Projects need to be turned in by Friday, Feb 14th. Judging will take place Monday Feb, 17th.
- I need help judging projects. Please volunteer. No experience is needed. If you are interested or would like more information contact me Ray Runyon at jrayrunyon@gmail.com.
