A quick look at great technology to make your life easier

Go Noodle

Have you heard of Go Noodle? I heard about it from my own children so I know elementary teachers are using it, but I wonder if middle school and high school teachers know about Go Noodle?

Go Noodle is an interactive website that gets kids up and moving. There are quick videos that students can participate in, right beside their desks that get their bodies moving, wakes them up, and gets the blood flowing. There are even videos to get students to calm down. With testing season right around the corner, I thought I would share some of the cool things you can do with Go Noodle

Tons of Video Channels to choose from

There are many channels to choose from where you know the videos will be kid-friendly. I especially like the Think About It channels that features life skills like finding joy and being a team player. There is a YouTube channel that features great school-friendly videos and you have the option to add your own videos that this channel as well. There is a Zumba channel where students can exercise and get their energy out before settling down to work in your classroom. Most videos are just a few minutes long so they work great for a quick brain break.
