March 2019
Message From The Principal
As we enter March, we are eager to get back to regular routines and an actual full month of school! There have been birds chirping outside my window the past two mornings, and there are crocuses emerging tentatively from their winter beds. I don't know about you, but I am eagerly awaiting spring!
Semester One report cards came home on Friday, a bit later than anticipated due to our snow days. As we "spring" into semester two learning, there are a lot of fun, engaging activities happening this month!

Please join us on March 15th from 5:30-7:00 for Geneva’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) night! Students will be showcasing their work in one of the STEAM areas. Look for information from your child's teacher for more details about what your child's class will be showcasing. The showcase will be held in the cafeteria and gym. We look forward to celebrating your child's learning with you! In addition, PTA will be hosting the Spring Book Fair in the Library on the same night from 5:00-8:00 pm.
This is a modification of the annual Geneva science fair. Our hope is to showcase the 21st Century Skills happening in our classrooms while removing the pressure on families to conduct the experiments and complete the science fair display. There are lots of fun ways to reinforce these 21st Century Skills with your child at home. Check out these great resources:
