Unified Basketball check in 3/9 @ 3:45pm
What are Unified Sports and why are they important:
The RMHS Unified Basketball team will be dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experiences. Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding. By having fun and being active together, we will promote inclusion, friendship and keeping an open mind. Ultimately, we will develop more connections and provide an enriching and valuable experience for all participating athletes and families.
Direction to Register students to play or be a helper/coach:

Attention Senior Parents- Senior Exam Exemptions:
We will need to hold true to our handbook about senior exams. We apologize for any confusion.
The handbook policy will remain:
Seniors who earn an average of at least a B through the end of 3rd quarter(83-86), and have been absent less than 6 days during second semester will be exempt from taking the final assessment.
The only absences that will be considered excused for the purposes of exam exemption include illnesses, bereavement, field trips, school-sponsored exam (for example, AP exam) or extreme personal circumstances if verified and approved by administration.
For a yearly class, the average of quarters 1, 2, & 3 + Midterms will be calculated, and for a semester two class, it will mean the average of quarter 3.
If students are enrolled in an AP course, they are not exempt from an exam. They must either take the AP exam or final exam for the course.
Seniors who are completing an internship will not be required to take final exams.
Thank you for your patience!

RMHS PTO IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
DUES CAMPAIGN
Hello RMHS Families - Here is where you can scroll to and find out any upcoming events or important dates related to any and all things PTO.
A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO OUR AMAZING AND GENEROUS FAMILIES AT RMHS!!!! The stocking of the teachers lounges happened on Wednesday and it was a HUGE success. We had so many donations and were able to stock the office, guidance, all the departments - science, math, English, languages, arts, health & wellness, Officer Lewis' office, Metco office, Athletic department with so many delicious snacks and drinks. We forgot to take pictures as we went but here is a picture at Alexis' house before we packed our cars. The teachers were SO HAPPY and we cannot thank you all enough!
DUES CAMPAIGN - Our PTO Dues campaign is a HUGE portion of the funds we are able to use for so many things throughout the school year (Teacher appreciation, Unity Day, funding the library for after school hours and enhancing the library, Homecoming, etc). The campaign runs all year and you can donate at any time either by sending a check into school made out to the RMHS PTO or you can click on the link below and send via PayPal. The suggest amount is $50 per family via check or $55 per family via PayPal (to cover any fees).
