Poetry Appreciation Night!
Celebrate Poetry & National Library Week
Poets and Library Lovers Unite on one special evening
The Trails Regional Library annual poetry contest was to begin in February.
However, due to unforeseen circumstances the system-wide poetry contest has been canceled this year.
The Concordia Branch has decided to offer as an alternative, Poetry Appreciation Night.
Go ahead and express yourself in verse to celebrate National Poetry Month and join us on Tuesday, April 16 at 6:30p.m. to read your work.
You may bring your own composition or you may choose to come with any favorite poem you would like to recite. Just like the poetry contest, this event is open to children, teens and adults, but this year there is no competition, it is all for the love of poetry. Look for more details in the coming weeks.
