MCCHS FRIDAY FOCUS
30th Edition: April 28, 2017
Pilgrims on the Way of Truth
After this weekend, we officially reach the "home-stretch" of our school year. As you know, the anticipation can hardly be contained - but we must all do our very best to finish strong. Please check your students' grades often as we will be officially at mid-term this coming Tuesday, May 2nd. If your student is struggling with any classes - please encourage him/her to conference with teachers immediately and develop this very important skill of self-advocacy.

PROM 2017 TONIGHT!
Please pray for our Juniors and Seniors as they celebrate their Prom tonight at The Cotillion! Our seniors are probably sleeping in today (thanks to their victory in the Jeep Raffle Sales contest!) and our juniors are anxious for the noon-dismissal bell. We pray that our students remain safe all weekend, including any travelling or post-prom activities they are looking forward to enjoying together.
Come join us to celebrate the "Promenade" in Landers Pavilion, starting around 5:40 pm on April 28th. If you've misplaced the "Prom Letter", it's linked here again for your convenience, and it's also posted in full on our Marian website. By this time, the itinerary is probably all that you will need, and we have included that below in the Week At-A-Glance for you!

Now Seeking Host Families for International Student!
Dear Marian Central Catholic Parents,
We have an exciting opportunity for our families. Our school has partnered with the International Partnership of Education Research and Communication (IPERC) Foundation to expand our interactions with students and educators from China, and to help share the cultures of our respective countries to truly develop global learners at our school. Through this partnership, we have accepted a student to be a part of the MCCHS community for the 2017-18 academic year. We are currently looking for great family who will welcome this student into their home during the academic year. Attached is a flyer with additional information about becoming a host family. If you are interested, please contact Mike Maloney at mmaloney@marian.com for additional information. Thank you for your consideration.
