Class Assignment Day is August 15th from 9am-1pm and 3pm-6pm

Class Assignment Day will be held on Thursday, August 15th. You will enter through the cafeteria doors. This is an exciting day as you will have the opportunity to receive your child's schedule, purchase LES Spirit Wear, pay school fees, and so much more! In July, you received an email from Online Registration with directions and a login code. If this process is completed prior to Class Assignment Day, you will be able to go in the "express line." Please note if this is not completed, you will have to go to the computer lab first to get this done before you can go to the cafeteria. Everyone, even those who registered online will need to bring the following items: CURRENT ELECTRIC, GAS, OR WATER BILL (from the last 30 days) AND A PARENT/GUARDIAN DRIVER'S LICENSE OR PHOTO ID. Cable, satellite, cell phone, and other bills are not accepted forms of proof of residency.

Back to School Bash

Parent and student drop-in will be August 16th from 5:30PM-7:00PM.

It will be in the back of the school along the bus drive. Each grade level will have a tailgate tent set up where you can pick-up an orientation packet from their teacher and drop off their school supplies. Unfortunately, our new playground equipment will not be ready in time to play on. The school will be open to use the restrooms and find your child's classroom. Classrooms will be locked with the lights on for viewing only.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

  • Students are allowed to enter their classrooms at 7:25am.
  • The tardy bell rings at 7:40am. We kindly ask that all of our students be in their classrooms. ready to learn by this time. This aids in our students in a smooth start to their day.
  • Students are dismissed at 2:25pm. If you are a car rider, please make sure your car tag is displayed until your child gets in the car.

Walking Students to Class

During the first days of school, we know that you are anxious to walk students to class. We allow parents to walk students to class from Tuesday, August 20th to August 23rd without having to check in.

Beginning Monday, August 26th, we ask that parents allow your child to walk to class on his/her own. We have adults throughout the building to assist them. If you need to walk your child to class, you will need to have your driver's license and check in the lobby to receive an identification sticker. These must be warn in a visible place as long as you are on campus. We appreciate your support with this process.

Do you want to volunteer at Lexington Elementary for the 2019-2020 school year?

We LOVE volunteers and we would love to have YOU to be a volunteer!!!! Lexington School District One is introducing a new online application on August 5, 2019!

Please note that you will be unable to complete this application until August 5, 2019. The process may take 2-4 weeks for completion. Once you are approved, you are good for the 2019-2020 school year. Please make sure to complete this information at least 4 weeks prior to the date you need it just in case there are delays. The school does not have access to results of background checks. Should you have any questions, please contact Shannon Williamson at the district office @ 821-1000.
