Awesome Authors Family Engagement NightEveryone had a great time at our Awesome Authors Night, visiting all of the stations and talking with each other. | : The trail mix snack and Dr. Seuss books were a hit! | : What child doesn't love free books? Every child that visited us this evening, chose a book to take with them. |

:Crafts in the Large Group Room allowed the students to be creative and have a keepsake from the evening. | : Reader's Theater is a fun way to practice fluency and some acting skills! | Kindergarten News: Kindergarten has been working hard to learn our vowels and use them in words. We played vowel games and held a graduation for Mabel! She knows how to use all her letters to make words! |

First Grade News: WIth St. Patrick’s Day approaching, the First Graders spent some time planning, designing, and building some traps to hopefully catch a leprechaun. They used glitter and chocolate gold coins to lure a leprechaun to their traps. | | : |
Physical Education News:In physical education for kindergarten through 2nd grade, students were working on their kicking and trapping soccer skills in an exciting game of Guard Your Pin. | : In physical education for 3rd grade through 5th grade, students were continuing to learn about the 5 components of physical fitness. The students were able to complete a pushup fitness assessment to test their muscular strength which is one of the 5 components of physical fitness. | 4th Grade:Breaking News! : | : | 5th Grade News:Breaking News! Researchers synthesize learning across their books to articles and videos to find patterns and relationships in order to grow stronger ideas about their topic. In science class, students are working on a special St. Patrick’s day STEM challenge. They are designing and building a catapult to be used to launch golden coins (in our case, Lucky Charms) into a pot. 4th and 5th grade students are excited that Drama Club has finally began! Rehearsals for our show, which will include selections from “Grease” and “Hairspray” have been going well! Photos to come! |

Researchers synthesize learning across their books to articles and videos to find patterns and relationships in order to grow stronger ideas about their topic.

Private Car Information:
Please do not park along the sidewalk or in front of the round-a-bout. It is important that cars are able to drive along there to safely let their children out of the car for school. Thank you!
Water Bottles:
Due to the continued closure of our water fountains, students should bring a water bottle to school daily. The bottle must only contain water.
School Gate Guardian:
Please remember to bring your driver's license/photo ID with you when you visit our school. We will require all visitors to scan through School Gate Guardian. Please understand that this is for the safety of our students and staff.
