Recipe Introduction

This is my amazing chicken and gnocci soup I made in April 2013 in Mrs. Brooks creative cooking class. I made this recipe because I had this soup a month or so prior at the Olive Garden and I love thick creamy soups so it was a great choice. I will show you a detailed procedure of how I went about making this recipe so that YOU can make it at home.

As you can see the cornstarch made the soup much more white in color and added a great deal of thickness as well!

Recipe Reflection

Overall, I found this recipe to be pretty easy to make. One difficulty I would mention is getting the soup to the consistency you want. The original recipe asked for a cup of half and half but I substituted it with heavy cream since I like my soup very thick and rich.
