Letter from the Principal

Dear Lions Park Families,

I am excited that the time change this weekend will result in longer periods of daylight. It is an exciting time of year with many celebrations of the arts and learning in the months to come. On Tuesday we will highlight the accomplishments of our scientists at our STEM Fair. All students will visit the fair on Tuesday afternoons, and it will be open to their families that night from 5:30-6:30 PM.

The days we have warmer weather can be very wet and muddy. It may be a good idea to send rain boots on these days or to send dry pants and socks.

The next Lions Park PTO meeting will be held virtually via zoom. Please feel free to join us for the meeting to find out about some future volunteer opportunities.

PARENT COLLECTION FOR UKRAINE EXTENDED THROUGH FRIDAY, MARCH 18

The following BABY/INFANT ITEMS ONLY will be collected and are needed: baby wipes, pacifiers, baby bottles, thermometers, baby and infant formula (powder only), only new baby clothes (infant-10 year old), infant Tylenol, Motrin, cough syrup, chest rub, vitamins.

Attention 2nd Grade Parents: Dental Exam Reports are due by May 15th.

Thank you to the parents/guardians who have already sent in your Dental Exam Forms. Dental Exam Forms for all 2nd Graders are due by May 15th, 2022. Dental exams after 11/15/20 are acceptable. If needed, please schedule an appointment soon. Please have your dentist complete, date, and sign the district’s Dental Exam Form (see below).
