We are now in 2020. We have just finished our first month back in the new year. This month’s newsletter will highlight some events that will be doing in the month of February. This is a busy month and we can not forget our Valentine's Dance that will be held on February 13th afterschool.

This year as part of our school safety and digital point system we are requiring all students to have their ID badges on them every day. We have the following signs set up at the entrances every morning to remind our students to have their ID badges on them every day.

PSAT Scores Report and Parent Information Nights

PSAT Scores report will be passed back to students this week. Students will be able to have them for the remaining two Parent Information Nights. The following PSAT Parent Nights still remain:

• Thursday, February 6, 2020 at ERHS from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

• Thursday, February 20, 2020 at CENT from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Congratulations To Our Cross Country Team

Congratulations to our Cross Country team coached by Coach Sonja and Coach Lashondra. The boys and girls team did an amazing job representing Raney. The girls finished 7th out of 10 teams and our boys finished 4th out of 10 teams. On the boy's side we had 4 runners medal in the top 25.

Boys and Girls soccer is underway. Congratulations to those students who made the team. Games will begin in March. See the school website for more information and team schedule. Go Knights.

ELPAC testing will begin this month for students who need to participate in the English Language Proficiency Assessments for Californa. If you have questions please contact Mrs. Martinez or Mrs. Perez.

CNUSD Intermediate Track Meet

CNUSD Intermediate Track Meet

Coach Sonja, Coach Lashondra and Coach Alyssa are holding practices for this year's Track meet. holding tryouts for this year's Cross Country team. The track meet will be held on February 28th at 4:30 pm. The location will be at the stadium at Roosevelt High School in Eastvale. Hope to see you all there.

Feb 7 - Imperial Knights performance through History class on the lower field.

Feb 7 - 8th Grade Semester 1 Awards Ceremony at 2:30

Feb 8 - VEX Robotics competition at Corona High from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

Feb 10 - Lincoln's Birthday - No School this Monday

Feb 13 - ELAC Meeting - 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Feb 13 - AVID Field Trip to UCR - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Feb 20 - PSAT Parent Information Night at Centennial HS from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Feb 24 - IB Buddy Party afterschool from 2:08 pm to 4:00 pm

Feb 25 - 8th Grade Promotion pictures happening through PE classes

Feb 28 - CNUSD Track meet held at Roosevelt High School in Eastvale at 4:30 pm
