FEE STRUCTURE

YOUTH FEES

The team fee for player pitch will typically be in the range of $1,000-$1,500.

In the past, Coach Pitch typically will range from $350-$750 -depends upon programming. As your child gets older, tournament fees also increase.

HIGH SCHOOL AGE SUMMER TRAVEL FEES

The team fee for summer travel will be roughly $1,500 and include entry in 6-7 elite level tournaments.

Why the range, you might ask? The range is estimated due to many variables, including the costs associated with registration for tournaments. Many tournaments have not set their rates. We have to estimate our costs. Your coach will share with you the budget as we move forward.

All fees paid into the club are NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason. Why you might ask are fees nonrefundable? When the club collects fees, we then start the process of entering tournaments and paying for expenses.

TRAVEL COST

Travel costs such as hotel and transportation are not included in the fee structure. We stay as a team on our travel tournaments at a team hotel.

DEPOSIT

The club wide board approved team deposit for 2020 will be $300 and will be applied to your fees. This will be due within approximately one week of your team offer and acceptance.

FUTURE FEE PAYMENTS

Fee payment #2 will be due in the months to follow.

Fee payment #3 will be due in the months to follow.

All remaining fees will be due in full by February 1, 2020 for youth teams and at a TBD time for Summer High School age teams.

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

Fundraising opportunities will be made available to youth teams.

The level of fundraising activities is left up to the teams to determine and implement. The success of your teams fundraising will determine your final payment. We don't believe travel baseball has to be expensive.

  • We have had clubs play a 56 game travel schedule for only $350 - $500 due to fundraising success!

UNIFORMS

UNIFORMS

All families will be required to purchase the uniform package and is in addition to the fee. We have made a club wide decision to have the same uniforms, bags, helmets for all teams.

Uniform package typically include the following: Practice Cap, Game Cap, Two Jersey tops (third at discretion of coach at each level), 2 belts, at least 2 pairs of pants with color braids, at least 4 pairs of socks, shoes, bat bags and helmets.

Obviously, first year MAVS will need to purchase full uniform packages. However, returning MAVS may have the opportunity to utilize uniforms from previous year, which then lead to cost savings. In 2020, we are putting our uniform program out to bid to continue to ensure our families are getting the best value possible, by using our club buying power.

In the past, uniform packages have ranged from $150 for returners to $300+ for new ballplayers.

We also have a team shoe program, which also saves our families money.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU MAKE THE TEAM

We will make every effort to select our teams as soon as possible after tryouts. The process will be as follows:

  1. You will participate in a tryout(s).
  2. You will receive an email offer of acceptance for a spot on a roster.
  3. You will have a designated time frame to respond to accept the spot.
  4. Upon acceptance you will receive by email with paperwork and instructions.
  5. Your Deposit will be due in order to complete your acceptance to the team.
  6. Should you not make the team, you will also receive an email.

No team activities are allowed until the fee deposit is paid.

Please note, the process can move rather quickly or it can be delayed pending the response rate of the selected families. We will do everything to expedite the process on our end.

At the conclusion of all team formulations, we will host an all-club parent meeting and signing day event sponsored by Ledgestone Capital Management, where the MAVS signs a "player agreement" to play baseball by the MAVS 101 Ways for the 2020 Season (which begins in the fall of 2019)
