St. Joan of Arc

  • St. Joan of Arc is the patroness of soldiers and of France.
  • Born on January 6, 1412
  • Died on May 30th 1431
  • Persistent in doing what God asked of her
  • Saw visions of figures she identified as Saint Michael, Saint Catherine, and Saint Margaret, who told her to drive out the English and bring the Dauphin to Reims for his coronation.
  • Joan effectively turned the longstanding Anglo-French conflict into a religious war.
  • I choose this Saint because she accomplished many important things.
  • This Saint can be a role model for me because she fought to get others to believe in what she saw.
