Botvin LifeSkills Training
During second semester, FTMS East and West will be implementing Botvin LifeSkills Training for our 6th grade students. These lessons are intended to help protect children against alcohol, tobacco and other drug use. The curriculum will address the myths and facts about tobacco, alcohol, and marijuana. Additionally, this instruction is focused on things like setting goals, making decisions, keeping friends, staying calm, and communicating with others. The implementation of these lessons will occur during our weekly scheduled character education during PRIDE.
The letter below can provide you with additional information. If you have further questions you can contact Lynlie Schoene at central administration or our school's administration. We would be happy to help with more information about our lessons or how we can help support reinforcing these important skills at home.
Report Card News!!!
In an effort to provide you with your child’s quarter and semester grades as soon as possible, all students grade 6 through 12 will have their report cards posted online.
You will be able to access your child’s report card by having your child pull it up on their Chromebook, other school device or through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
This change will allow you to see your child’s most current, up-to-date grades, including any grade revisions.
You will receive a call from your child’s school letting you know when the report cards have been posted so that you will be able to access them from either your child’s device or the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Paper copies of report cards will no longer be mailed home. If you would like a paper copy of your child’s report card, please contact your child’s school registrar and they will send a paper copy home to you with your child.
