District art show winners announced
The Air Academy Art Show award winners have been selected and will be recognized at the awards night at 6 p.m on Friday, April 12, at Elizabeth High School.
You can see the amazing work by our talented students in the Elizabeth High School lobby weekdays between 7:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. through April 12.

March Teachers of the Month
Congratulations to our March Teachers of the Month, sponsored by Farmers Insurance – The Means Agency as part of the Thank America's Teachers program.

Each Teacher of the Month received a certificate, along with a jar full of treats, an engraved travel mug and a customized T-shirt, each personalized with their name and school logo from Farmers Insurance – The Means Agency.
Great showing at vocal festival
National History Day contest winners
Two Elizabeth High School students earned 1st place at the National History Day Central Plains Regional Contest.
Julia Folmar placed first in the senior paper category for her essay titled Broken Bodies: How American Labor Laws Changed to Protect Children from the Industrial Revolution to Today.
Isabella McCarty placed first in the senior website category for her project titled Economic Triumph of Denver International Airport.
Julia and Isabella will compete at the state competition in May.
Students compete at state Knowledge Bowl
Elizabeth High School's Knowledge Bowl team competed at state over spring break and placed 9th. The team had a good showing and the students did really well.

Lady Cards Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
The EHS Lady Cards Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction is Monday, April 22, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the EHS cafetorium. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for students, 3 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased from a team member or by emailing sbm1219@gmail.com.
Silent auction items include gift certificates to Elizabeth Salon, Parker Aesthetics, Greenlee's Automotive, The Epic Tower at Phillip S. Miller Park, Rockies Tickets, Boot Camp gift certificates to Access Gym, gifts and more.
To donate to the EHS Girls Basketball Silent Auction, email sbm1219@gmail.com. Proceeds will fund basketball camps, summer camps and tournaments.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month
Did you know that a report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds? Yearly referrals to state child protective services involve 6.6 million children.
