Bring JOBS ACT to Israel
Israel Crowdfunding Association - ISCA
What is Crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is the raising of funds through the collection of small contributions from the general public (known as the crowd) using the Internet and social media. Crowdfunding has its origins in the concept of crowdsourcing, which is the broader concept of an individual reaching a goal by receiving and leveraging small contributions from many parties.
President Barack Obama signed the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (JOBS Act) into law in April 2012. The "crowdfunding" (raising small dollar amounts from a large number of investors) provisions of the JOBS Act have been getting a lot of attention. However, another important provision of the JOBS Act is the lifting of the ban on general solicitation and general advertising in connection with certain private placements.
Bringing JOBS ACT to Israel. Making the Israeli economy the growth opportunities so important to the nation.
