If you are interested in having your classes participate, complete the Google Form below, and I will have applications ready for you to distribute on August 12th! Collect them from students by August 16th and put them in my box. Cards will be delivered to you for classroom distribution the last week of August.
For teachers who don't want to participate as a class, please let students know that they can stop by the Library Card Drive Table in front of the Library, during both lunches on August 29th, to pick up an application for their own Sac Library card. Cards will then be delivered the following month. Mrs. Casey will also have lots of local library info for teens, freebies, and treats. Encourage your students to stop by.
Write the World
Can you write a story in 99 words or less? Flash fiction draws on the brevity of poetry and the story-arc of novels, compressing the very best parts of fiction into very small packages. Have students practice conciseness by writing their own narrative flash!
