March of Dimes
Lubbock-Cooper ISD will host a district-wide March of Dimes campaign, #lubbockcoopercares, in the coming weeks (beginning Tuesday, April 14). Our district goal is $10,000, which we hope to raise virtually. Each LCISD campus has a "team page" where the community can donate online: our North Elementary page is at www.marchforbabies.org/team/LubbockCooperNorthElementary
When an individual donates online, they will receive an email containing a printable of a little Pirate. We would love for our Lubbock-Cooper families to print these little Pirates, decorate them, and display them in windows in the front of their homes to encourage neighbors and passers-by to donate, as well!
On Friday, May 15, we will wrap up this campaign and announce two winners: the campus that raises the most money, and the campus with the highest percentage of participation. It would be so helpful to have your support as a family! Please help us spread the word and help your campus WIN! (The winning principals will be "arrested" by LCISD Police Officers and treated to something extra special!)
We know this is a unique and unprecedented time in our community, but the Pirate family continues to grow. Babies are still being born, and mothers still need assistance. Please consider joining us as we build the future, one baby at a time!
Below is where we stand today!

Lubbock-Cooper Meal Service
The LCISD Child Nutrition Department is offering child meals via curbside pick-up at LCISD campuses. Food will be provided for all children under the age of 18, Monday-Saturday with pick-up available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Individuals will be able to pick up four meals at a time per child; breakfast and lunch for two days.
Pick-up will be from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Meals can be picked up on behalf of LCISD students on their home campus, where those students do not have to be present. To pick up from any campus besides the LCISD student's home campus, children must be present at pick-up. For more information or clarification, please contact Director of Child Nutrition Rudy Luna at email@example.com or Director of Student Services Jay Whitefield at firstname.lastname@example.org.
