Questions
1. How did this musical artist or group change Rock and Roll/Rhythm and Blues forever?
Many people could argue whether Led Zeppelin actually change the course of rock and roll or not. Personally I don't think they changed much, but they did make amazing music that did affect many peoples lives and the way they thought of music and listened to music. The 60s to 80s were the greatest era of a Rock and Roll music with bands like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Guns n Roses, and other great rock and roll bands. All those bands combined set a large piece of history in music and true Rock n Roll.
2. What components of this group or artist made them so appealing in the 1950s and 1960s? (What drew people to them?)
The drummer was one of the best in the world and their musical components when combined made great music that made giant hits and everybody loved them. Their songs were like no others. Everything was different from all he instruments used together and the beats and rhythms through out the song. The song would go from a slow Rock n Roll to high intensity rock n roll in seconds and they did that like no other band.
3. Summarize The Roots of Rock 'n' Roll/Rhythm and Blues (Where and how did it start?)
The roots of Rock n Roll and Blues came from all different types of music and people. There were many new artists that started and spread from America to England because of different artists spreading the music culture and heir own new version of music.
4. Compare your musical artist or group to an artist of a different genre.
(Example: Jerry Lee Lewis compared to Otis Redding)
Led Zeppelin and Coldplay have the same musical components. They both have a singer, drummer, guitarist, and keyboardist, but make different types of music. Coldplay has a slow rhythmic music and an indie rock theme to their band. While Led Zeppelin has a higher beat music and more screaming high rhythmic music.
5. Today, what makes this musical artist or group still popular? What musical artist or groups from today are heavily influenced by these Rock 'n" Roll/Rhythm and Blues pioneers? How?
Today, different artists compose different mood and genres of music because of what they love. Millions of people will follow their music from different locations for what music they want to listen too. Now, their are many different genres of music that people love, all the artist has to do is make the music they love.
