Notes and Reminders
Winter has arrived! We experienced our first snowstorm of the year, and I am sure we can expect more. Reminder that if we should have a Remote Learning Day, you will receive instructions for your child's day by 8:45am from the classroom teacher. I will also email in the morning with reminders for logging into Google Classroom and some details for the day of learning (and play!)
Spotlight on Learning
In Art, Kindergarteners studied pop artist Jim Dine to make colorful hearts. With cast shadow, highlights, collage and color, budding artists worked on their fine motor skills as they cut paper and placed small pieces of colorful tissue around their frames! Kindergarten HEARTS ART!!!
Students in KLW celebrated the end of a narrative writing study by sharing their pieces.
Thank you to the PTSA for organizing a great week of Cardio Bootcamp during Physical Education classes. The Rye Y partnered with the PTSA for a dynamic week of high energy sessions.
Thank you to Amy Bennett, PTSA STEAM Coordinator, for organizing an awesome assembly~ "Bash the Trash" for K-2!

Special visit by David Paul "DP" from the Harlem Wizards to hype up the Booster Club event. It was full of fun and laughter. Hope to see you there! January 26th at 7pm- Tickets can be purchased HERE.
Important Traffic Notification
- As we know, arrival and dismissal is a busy time around Daniel Warren. It's important that our traffic line does not impact our neighbors. Please be sure NOT TO BLOCK access to driveways.
- Also a reminder for those that drive to have a sign in the window listing the child's first and last name, along with their class. This greatly expedites how we call and escort students to cars.
- Do not make a U-turn on Harrison and cut into the line. Please use surrounding streets and join the end on Harrison Avenue.
THANK YOU! 🚗
